Lucy is skilled in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary; which all influence her unique and versatile movement style. She trained specifically in contemporary dance for three years at UNITEC, before joining as a founding member of The New Zealand Dance Company for eight years. Lucy was 21 and the youngest in the company, dancing alongside Aotearoa's most skilled celebrated dancers.
Lucy has colloborated with the worlds most recognised choreographers and companies including Black Grace Dance Company, World of Wearable Arts, Stephanie Lake, Ross McCormack, Shona McCullagh, Malia Johnson, Hannah Tasker-Poland, Mary Jane-O'Reilly and Sarah Foster-Sproull. Her collaborations have taken her to the worlds most prestigious festivals in Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands, Australia and Germany.
Lucys recent credits include performing as the lead soloist 'Giselle' in acclaimed choreographer Mary Jane O'Reillys show 'Ballet Noir' and as a dancer in award winning show 'The Butterfly That Flew Into The Rave' - the receiver of the 2024 PANNZ Edinburgh Fringe Award and the Melbourne and Sydney Fringe Award.
